The Come of a "Savior"
He arrives with the best of his men from the land of the Geats. In a mail skirt and with a sword, shield, and helmet, He expects to beat the horrendous Grendel. I simply could not believe what was going on. I heard the words of this mighty warrior and learned it was the great Beowulf. I had heard of the many battles he'd won and the monsters he'd taken the life away from.
I tried to warn the anxious warrior about the strength and troubles of Grendel, but still he insisted on taking on the challenge and resting the kingdom's fate on his shoulders. The most outrageous thing about Beowulf was that he wanted to take on Grendel and fight with his bare fists. Although it seemed impossible, I believed in him. For he was the Danes only hope....
